Congratulations to Lincoln Stars goaltender Kevin Murdock for being selected to the RBK Second-Team All-USHL. "Doc" led the Lincoln Stars to the top of the West Division in just his second season in the USHL. In 35 regular season games for the Stars, he compiled a record of 21-10-4 (W-L-OTL). In 2005:11 minutes between the pipes, Murdock made 860 saves, giving up 75 goals and recording 1 shutout. He leads the league in both goals against average (2.24) and save percentage (.920) through the regular season. We wish Kevin Murdock and the Lincoln Stars the best of luck as they being the 2009 playoffs on Friday, April 10. The Stars will take on the Sioux Falls Stampede in the first round best-of five-series in the battle for the Clark Cup. Friday, April 10 @ Lincoln
