National Tournament: Semi-finals

Becca Ruegsegger picked up her 5th win of the tournament in a 5-3 victory against a physical Colorado Select team. Despite being down 2-0 early in the game, Becca was able to shut down the Colorado offense to allow the Sabers to get back into the game, scoring 5 second period goals. Becca stopped 18 of 21 shots, bringing her tournament totals to 124 saves on 131 shots in 255 minutes of action. She goes into the Championship with a .947 save percentage and 1.4 goals against average with 2 shutouts.

The 16U Girls lost their semi-final game 2-1 to Team Illinois. Erin Krichiver stopped 16 of 18 shots on net, but gave up two power-play goals in the loss. Krich finished the tournament with a 2-2 record, a .903 save percentage, stopping 65 of the 72 shots she faced in 204 minutes of action, and a 1.75 goals against average.
